14 Months Old

Already a teenager - driving and talking on the phone

Last Thursday, Logan turned 14 months old.  This is what is new with Logan this month.
Logan's version of those big head, little body dog cards (with goldfish on his chin)

Silly boy, it's not Christmas yet!

Logan is obsessed with opening and closing doors and cabinets.  He has learned what the word "close" means which is great because you can ask him to "close the fridge" and he will close it instead of crying because I closed it in front of him.  He feels pride for understanding what I am asking him to do and I get the fridge door closed.  It's a win-win for all.
The Herbers blood is flowing in this boy with the Uno cards in hand

In fact, he is showing that he understands more and more phrases every day.  You tell him "let's take a bath" and he goes to the bathroom.  A few of the others are: let's go upstairs, do you want to help with the laundry, let's change your diaper, and go to your bedroom.
Momma, I am ready for the next power outage.  I have my lantern.

Additionally, he responds to "can I have that, please?"  If he gets into something he should not have, he will hand it to you when asked to.  Love this.
Push me!

Logan is obsessed with the stairs.  I am trying hard to teach him how to come back down them.  He's getting it, but he's not completely there yet.
Days before we cut all his hair off

In the past month, Logan started walking followed by standing.  Yes, my boy could walk, but not stand yet.  He now can also stand himself back up when he falls down.
Enjoying some Cheerios and going through Momma's wallet

Logan has added two new teeth to his mouth in the past month bringing his total to 9.  The two new ones are molars on the left hand side.
Helping Daddy with the dishes

Engine noises are now heard from sunup to sundown in our house.  Logan loves to make them when he is pushing something or being ridden around in Cozy Coupe.  Logan also learned how to moo, point out where my nose is, and where his head is in the past month.
Loves to ride backwards.  I guess that's what he is used to.

Meals continue to be a daily adventure with him.  Usually he has one good meal a day, which more often than not is breakfast.  Dinner is the hardest meal.  I hope it gets better soon.
Always the multi-tasker.
